Professor S. Yume Yamaguchi awarded as a Honorary Doctor
Based on the contribution to the development of primary education and cooperation between Mongolia and Japan, Professor Shinobu Yume Yamaguchi of Tokyo Institute of Technology was awarded Honorary Doctor by the Academic Council of Mongolian State University of Education (MSUE) on 30th January, 2015.

Her honorary doctor’s medal was handed by the director Dr. Munkhjargal from Mongolian State University of Education (MSUE) and he congratulated and wished future succes for her work. During the honorary doctor ceremony, Prof. Jadambaa remarked that Professor Yamaguchi’s devoted work was recognized by the presidential decree in 2014 when “Polar Star” medal was awarded. This is the recognition of her great contributions to the Mongolian education sector. Her name was engraved in the Honorary Board of MSUE.

In this ceremony, Deputy Director for Research, Professor Tserensodnom and International Affairs officer Ms.Dulamjav, Scientific officer Dr.Shiilegmaa and project members of the “sustainable use of ICT for improving the quality of education in rural areas in Mongolia” were present, congratulated her and signed her name on honorary board of the Mongolian State University of Education.

Professor Yamaguchi received a Honorary Doctor with appreciation, indicating that this award is result of long term collaboration of education experts and teachers between Mongolia and Japan. She is committed to continue to participate in development of education in Mongolia. The recent joint research will be presented at the Comparative and International Education Society in Washington D.C. in March, 2015.
