Album for JICA project closing ceremony in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (Jan. 2016)

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia — On January 12, 2017, the final conference on “Sustainable use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) for Improving the Quality of Primary Education in Mongolia” project was held at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (MECS) conference hall.

This meeting marks the project milestone at the finishing line of the 5-year JICA funded grassroots project (2012 – 2017). Project activities had positive impact on development of capacities for primary school teachers in Mongolia to use, create, and integrate ICT for professional development and into their teaching. A total of 73 officials, educators, and counter partners attended the conference, including experts from JICA, MECS,  Tokyo Tech, MNUE, UNESCO-IIEP, and representatives of 21 aimags and Ulaanbaatar city.
