Yew Siang Poong completed Doctor’s course, and Takero Inoue and Norifumi Irie completed Master’s course on March, 2016. Their comments are as follows.
“It was a great learning experience in Yamaguchi Takada lab. Thanks to Professor Yamaguchi and Professor Takada, as well as the team of DPL, I graduated from my PhD in March 2016. As a researcher, I wish to continue to contribute to development using my knowledge and skills.” (Poong)
“When I joined the lab, I was originally motivated just to do some applied engineering research As my master’s went, however, it turned out that the lab was full of opportunities to develop your non-cognitive skills, that is, various skills and know-hows to “make things happen,” rather than just sitting at the desk and wait for everything you need to do your research and live your life.” (Inoue)
“I was always grateful for the plenty of learning opportunities granted in Yamaguchi and Takada laboratory. It could not be the same without having our passionate and enthusiastic professors, associate experts and lab mates. With all the knowledge and affluent experience in my master’s program, I’m currently working proactively with different nationalities in/outside of Japan. Again, thank you all for involving in my research and being part of my life.” (Irie)
