In the course of your life here, you will be treated like a professional. You may feel you cannot finish reading all the literature you need to. You may have to feel you cannot even go to a fieldwork when your research proposal is revised again and again. You may have hundreds of times of thesis review and forget what version of your thesis you are working on. Then, you will know you have learnt the basics you need to really work as a professional as you build your career. You have not only been equipped with a set of hard skills to conduct academic levels of research, but have nurtured human skills such as culture and communication through your life with people of various background. Personally, I had the chance to do my research and internship in Thailand. The experience I interned at the local office of an international organization did broaden my perspective and motivates me to become an internationally-demanded professional till today.
