I am interested in the foreign culture and development, therefore, I became a member of the Yamaguchi-Takada laboratory. I have the interest in the world heritage and joined the world heritage preservation project in Laos as my research activity.

文部科学省平成22年度，23年度政府開発援助ユネスコ活動費補助金：アジア・太平洋地域等における開発途上国の教育，科学又は文化の普及・発展のための交流・協力事業の一環として実施。モンゴルの初等教育分野においてICTを活用した教員研修用の教材を開発し，教員研修専門家及び小学校教員を対象とした教員研修を通じて新教材の試行・評価を実施した。
本研究では，優れた街並みが世界遺産に指定されているラオス人民民主共和国ルアンパバーンにおいて，持続可能な文化遺産の保存活動のために必要となる情報通信技術の応用に関して，現地政府世 界遺産局との共同作業により，1) 遺産物件の記録と監視，2) 遺産情報データベースの更新，3) 地理情報システムの持続的運用，の3つの課題について実践的に検討を行う．開発途上国固有の情報通信基盤の脆弱性と人的・物的資源の制約，情報通信技術の発展の双方に注目し，問題解決の実践を通じた情報通信技術応用の方法論を構築することを目指している．ここで構築される方法論は，開発途上国 でも増加している世界遺産地域の持続的開発に広く貢献するものと考えられる．
アジア・太平洋地域等における開発途上国の教育，科学又は文化の普及・発展のための交流・協力事業の一環として実施。ユネスコアジア太平洋地域事務所との連携のもと，モンゴルの中学校教員のためのICTを活用した研修教材を開発し，研修を実施した。
アジア・太平洋ユネスコアジア太平洋地等における開発途上国の教育，科学又は文化の普及・発展のための交流・協力事業の一環として実施。実施教育事務所との連携のもと，アジア地域10カ国の教育現場における「21世紀型スキル」育成の現状を比較分析。参加型教育データベースを構築し，各国の教育現場における「21世紀型スキル」育成に関する分析を通じて国別報告書，及び分析結果を類似点と相違点にまとめた地域報告書を発信。
モンゴル教育省の評価・情報技術局との連携のもと, オープンソースソフトウェアの導入が途上国における情報教育分野の発展にどのように貢献できるかの調査・分析実施した。
UNESCO北京事務所との連携のもと，モンゴルゴビ地方3県における学校再建築および学校長・教員再研修のための遠隔教育の導入に関するフィージビリティースタディーを実施した。モンゴル教育科学省，及びユネスコ北京事務所との協働事業。
モンゴル教育科学文化省との協働のもと、情報技術を駆使した教育機会の提供・教育の質の向上を目指したJICA草の根技術協力事業草の根パートナー型事業。現地のニーズに基づいた教員中心の研修プログラムの開発・実施。
国連ミレニアム開発目標達成を目指した国際協力プロジェクトの一環として世界銀行が中心となり教育へのアクセス拡大及び、質の向上を目指し情報技術を導入したプロジェクト評価。
ラオス人民民主共和国ルアンパバーンの包括的な地域開発を進めるにあたって，情報管理・情報技術分野でのニーズが高いことに着目し，本研究ではルアンパバーンで情報技術分野が維持可能な開発にどのように貢献できるかに焦点をおいた．ルアンパバーンの世界文化遺産地域における情報管理・情報技術分野におけるニーズアセスメントを実施し，その結果を受けて，DPLに次のような情報通信技術の導入を行った．(1) 情報のデ ジタル化とその戦略的な運用，(2) 無線 LAN による官庁間イントラネットの構築，(3) 文化遺産 および観光情報に関する Web サイトの作成および維持管理，(4) 地域住民および観光客のための ICT センターの開設運営，(5) 情報通信技術の導入・維持管理に必要となる現地人材育成
本研究では, 持続可能な世界遺産地域開発,および後発途上国という条件を踏まえたGISの維持可能な利用に焦点を置いている．聞き取り調査の結果を踏まえ，DPLにおいて保存地域の中核をなす 6 村を対象に次の手順で GIS の試行的導入を行った．(1) 建築物を主な対象とした基盤地図の作成，(2) 対象地域内の全建築物に対する詳細な調査，(3) 地理情報データベースの構築，(4)GIS による 1999年から 2009 年までの建築物の変遷の分析． 併せて，DPL内でのスタッフの世代交代に伴うデータベース技術の継承が十分に行われていない状況が明らかになり，持続可能な技術継承の方法に関して検討を行っている．
ICT introduction project sponsored by World Bank as part of the international cooperation project for Millennium Development Goals aiming to expand accessibility and level up the quality of education. Tokyo Tech Team conducted monitoring evaluation in collaboration with the local organization and Mongolia Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Sports.

The educational materials were created including guidelines based on the cases to contribute to human resource development through focusing on the participatory approach to development and public-private partnership.
The research about introducing ICT to promote community development and heritage conservation for World Cultural Heritage site in Laos. In cooperation with the local government and professional organizations, databases of cultural heritage information were created in ICT center which includes photo database and feedback database.

Conduct field researches in a foreign country to establish a comprehensive method of sustainable development that promotes conservation of cultural heritage in World cultural heritage sites in Asia: Japan, China, and Laos. Currently, the field research in world cultural heritage in Laos is being conducted. We held seminar “Heritage & Urban Development” with UNESCO in the international forum organized by UNHABITAT.
