Bat-Erdene Regsuren

President, Mongolian Academy for Education Development

I am very proud of my long-term collaborative work with Prof. Yamaguchi whom I met in 1993, when we were conducting our very first Human Resource and Education Sector Study at the time of Mongolia’s hardest period of transitioning to democracy and market economy. Since then I have a great privilege to work together with and learn massively from Prof. Yamaguchi’s vast academic expertise and passion in truly scientific endeavor. Under her leadership, rich networking capability and tireless effort, this laboratory is evolving to be one of the noticeable centers of excellence in advancing use of technology in teaching and learning.

I believe in teachings of great thinkers and make them as my motto: “the only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing” as observed by Socrates and “every journey begins with one step” as Lao Tzu taught.
